Friday is Lower School's Crazy Hair Day!
Though it is a Lower School event, all K-8 students are welcome to participate.
Lost & found Display: June 8, 9
The last lost and found display of the year will happen on Thursday, June 8 and Friday, June 9. The items will be hung on the fence. Please claim your items before Friday by 1:45pm. On Friday afternoon, all items with names will be returned and unlabeled items donated to a local nonprofit.
Jump-a-Thon Pledges Due June 15
Please give them to Leslie Sigler by Thursday, June 15. Thanks for your support!

Mark Day School Reads Assembly

Don't miss our Mark Day School Reads assembly on Friday, June 9. We will be recognizing students who completed this year's Bizjack Reading Program and honoring the dedicated 8th graders who have completed it for all six years!
June 13
Annual Spring Sports Recognition Night
6:00pm Track Team / 6:30pm Chess Team / 7:00pm Golf Team
All members of the above teams and their families are invited. Certificates of participation will be handed out and all team members will be recognized for contributions to their teams.
June 15
Closing Day
10:15am (Gym)
We are celebrating the last day of school with an assembly featuring student speeches, music, and more. The After School Club will be open 12:30-6:00pm. Lunch will be served. Bring swimsuits for water games and activities.
June 16
Graduation
10:00am (Gym)
Join us as we bid farewell to our 8th grade class and celebrate their achievements.
Athletics
Girls Volleyball, Fall 2017
For those of you who would like to plan ahead, here are the tentative game and practice days:
6th grade- Monday (game day) and Thursday (practice day)
7th grade- Tuesday (game day) and Thursday (practice day)
8th grade- Monday (practice day) and Wednesday (game day)
Cross Country next year will have practice on Monday and Thursday. Meets are held on weekends.
All of the above practice sessions run from 3:30 to 4:30.
Classroom Window
7th Grade Bizjack Projects
Seventh graders visited local assisted living facilities to interview residents as part of their Bizjack projects. After learning about their interviewee's life, including significant historical events, students will conduct additional research, prepare an on-camera interview, and create a short film.
