  • BEN BLUM '14 HONORED BY C-SPAN—AGAIN!

    Alumnus Ben Blum '14 has impressed the judges of C-SPAN'S student video competition, for the second year in a row. Last spring, he won the same competition and was honored at a special assembly here on campus. C-SPAN's mobile production bus was a higlight of the visit. His entry this year was "Prison Break: Reforming America's Prisons." View it here. Congratulations, Ben!

  • RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL COMING!

    The 7th graders have begun their intensive study of the Renaissance. Visiting artists are on site working with the students on creating historically accurate personas (including swordplay where appropriate!). We look forward to the culminating festival on Thursday, April 2, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the gym.

  • BEIJING EXCHANGE STUDENTS DEPART NEXT WEEK

    Next week, we'll send off our second group of Mandarin students to visit our partner school and stay with host families. We'll be relaying messages from them on our Facebook page, so follow along!

  • MATH + COSTA RICA = MR. LYONS'S BLOG!

    Our students are now at our partner school, Pan-American School, in Costa Rica for the next 10 days. Math specialist Norm Lyons is with them and will be teaching some pre-calculus lessons to PAS high schoolers. Follow his blog here.

    Our 10th annual girls' chess tournament was held on Saturday, January 31, and the IJ was here to cover it. Great photographs of our students accompany the article, and Ray Orwig had a chance to explain why he started the competition. Congratulations are in order, indeed!
