How to Apply

All families are encouraged to visit Mark Day School prior to submitting an application. If you decide to apply to Mark Day School, please see the application checklist and materials for kindergarten and 1st grade or for grades 2-8. Kindergarten

1. Submit an application by January 14, 2022. Please complete your application online here.

2. Give the recommendation form to your child's current teacher. The form should be emailed or mailed directly from the teacher to Mark Day School. This form is due on February 1.

3. If applicable, apply to pay tuition below the top of the index by January 14, 2022. To learn more, click here.

4. Schedule your child's assessment visit in the admission portal.

5. Contact Andrea Garcia, Assistant Director of Admission, at 415.472.8000 x1030 to schedule a Zoom parent meeting with Katie Kelso, Director of Admission. You may also schedule an appointment through the application checklist in the admission portal.

Notification of admission decisions will be emailed on March 17, 2022 at noon. Signed enrollment contracts from families are due back March 24, 2022 at 10:00am.

Grades 1-8

1. Submit an application by January 14, 2022. Please complete your application online here.

2. Give the recommendation form to two teachers (including your child's homeroom teacher) if in 2nd grade and up and one teacher if 1st grade. Forms should be emailed or mailed directly from the teachers to Mark Day School and are due no later than February 1.

3. Complete and sign the Transcript Release Form and give it to the registrar at your child's current school. The transcript is also due by February 1.

4. If applicable, apply to pay tuition below the top of the index by January 14, 2022. To learn more, click here.

5. Each applicant will need to have an assessment visit with members of the Admission and Administrative teams. We really want to get to know every applicant, and want them to get to know us, too! We look forward to spending this time with your child.
