Congratulations to the Class of 2021 and the 46 new alumni who graduated on June 18, with an in-person, distanced and masked ceremony. Everyone was grateful we were able to hold this very special event in person again.

Sophie Shulman '02 is not only our Director of Communications, she is also a published author! Her latest book This is a Safe Place is a page turning mystery you cannot put down. She says, "growing up, I always had a vivid imagination. I was constantly making up stories in my head and in young adulthood, I began putting those stories onto paper. I'm naturally drawn to mysteries that keep me guessing and stories that creep me out just enough that I won't look in the bathroom mirror in the middle of the night. I hope you enjoy my books!" Julia Smith '08 is running the TCS New York City Marathon on November 7th this year. It's the 50th anniversary of the event, and she is thrilled to be a part of the world's largest marathon!

From Julia: I am running for an incredible charity partner called the Wild Tomorrow Fund- a conservation group making huge efforts to preserve land, protect wildlife, and create sustainable jobs in South Africa.
