Quinn Woodhead '14 was recently named Marin Prep of the Week by the Marin Independent Journal.

What he did: The Stanford-bound senior scored a game-high eight goals to lead the Pirates to a 13-4 victory over Tam in Saturday's MCAL championship game. The league title was Woodhead's third consecutive, and Drake has now won 14 of the last 18. What he said: "I think we played very well. I was getting mad at (the team) for not being focused earlier, but I think we brought it together and definitely prepared ourselves well for the upcoming NCS games. Tam is a good team to prepare us for NCS. These (local games) are fun, but it's not really our main goal for the season. We're not going to get overconfident with a 13-4 win."  What's next: No. 2 Drake (19-5) hosts No. 15 California (11-13) on Thursday in the first round of the North Coast Section Division I playoffs.
