Maddie Ross '06 was deemed "The Best DIY Rockstar You've Never Heard Of" by Billboard.com, after her song "You're Still My Sugar" was named their #9 Rock Song of 2017. Next up for Maddie is opening for KT Tunstall this fall, with a show at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco on October 19. For more about Maddie's work: www.maddieross.com. Eva Geisse '09 is our newest alumni member of the faculty and staff at Mark Day, in the role of Science Support Specialist. Eva is passionate about science and credits her 3rd grade teacher at Mark Day School with igniting her interest in science through hands-on, inquiry style activities. Eva graduated from Mark Day School in 2009 and went on to earn a dual degree in Biology and Environmental Studies at Whitman College.

Dylan Woodhead '12 continues his dominance in the pool. He was named to the American team for the FINA Water Polo World Cup 2018.

Interrupting the Worry Cycle: Managing Anxiety at Home and School

When children and parents experience anxiety and worry, it can feel overwhelming. In this workshop, you will learn concrete strategies to use with your children and teens to handle current anxiety and prevent the development of anxiety and depression later in life.

 

Lynn Lyons is a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist in Concord, NH. She has been in private practice for 28 years specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders in adults and children. RSVP to
