We are thrilled to announce Nish Budhraja '06 has joined the Board of Trustees as our new alumni representative. Nish attended Mark Day School from 2nd through 8th grade, and rounded out his education at Marin Academy and UC Berkeley, where he pursued a BS in Business Administration. Upon graduating, Nish spent 4+ years at the management consulting firm Bain & Company, working with both for-profit tech / retail clients and non-profit education clients. He is currently the co-founder of an early stage startup focused on alleviating student loan debt in higher education. We have two Jefferson Award heroes in our community! Lilah Parker '18 and Chiara Savage-Schwartz '18 were awarded the Jefferson Award for Public Service by KPIX-TV (CBS) for their work with Wonderbag and under served communities. To learn more click here. Ben Strassman '16 and Katherine Gutierrez '16 will dance together as Cavalier and Sugar Plum Fairy in this season's Nutcracker from Stapleton Ballet. The ballet will be performed the weekend of December 7 and 8 at the Marin Civic Center Veteran's Auditorium. This is the culminating event of their 12 plus years dancing together at Stapleton. 7th and 8th grade science teacher Minna Leigh is seeking guest lecturers. Could this be you?
