THIS WEEK'S FEATURES PARENT EDUCATION EVENT ROSETTA LEE: PARENTING WITH IDENTITY IN MIND
Wednesday, October 2, 8:35-10:00am Flex Room
How do we learn about our various group identities like female, African American, Buddhist, homosexual, middle class, etc.? Why do some people develop proud and healthy self identity and others experience own-group shame and hatred? Learn how we as parents/guardians can, in age appropriate ways, instill positive self identity in our children and coach them to be positive influences on others' identities. Please RSVP! MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR THE FUN FEST!
The faculty/staff variety show is a fundraiser for eSibonisweni's Primary Orphan Program (ePOP). JOIN US ON GIVING DAY, OCTOBER 11TH
Thanks so much to everyone who has given or pledged to the 2019-20 Mark Day Fund! More than $100,000 has already been contributed toward the $800,000 goal. THE GREAT MARK DAY SCHOOL HALLOWEEN COSTUME SWAP
Want to be more eco-friendly this Halloween? Let's trade Halloween costumes! Donate your outgrown costumes to the Great Mark Day Halloween Costume Swap, and then find a "new" costume just in time for the big day. A Halloween costume collection bin will be in the breezeway 10/2-10/11. Please put your costume in a sealed bag so we can keep the pieces together.
